This bundle contains 3 assemblies perfect for using over the season of Lent.
Each assembly focusses on a story. They are all highly interactive, with opportunities for discussion and feedback throughout. One assembly focusses solely on the Bible story, one uses an anecdote relevant to the children’s experiences and one requires volunteers to act out a scenario, so they are a good mixture for using throughout the season. Each assembly contains a detailed pdf plan and an interactive PowerPoint presentation. (This is non-editable. Click ‘Read Only’ to open.) You can use the plans on their own or alongside the presentations. The following topics are covered:
Ash Wednesday
Lent - Giving Something Up
Lent - Doing Good Deeds
No resources are needed, so the assemblies are ideal to use without requiring preparation.
